Bowden Select is committed to ensuring that all employees are properly informed and adequately protected so as to minimise the risk of illness, accident or injury at work by promoting good occupational safety and health practices which are consistent with legislative requirements.

Bowden Select is committed to the creation and maintenance of an incident free work environment. The foundations of the environment are

  • Provide training and conduct all activities in a manner that safeguards people and property;
  • Respond immediately and decisively to safety issues, health risks, near misses and accidents;
  • Comply with all state, local and federal laws and regulations;
  • Emphasize to all employees, host employers and contractors their responsibility and accountability for safe performance on the job and encourage safety off the job;
  • Ensure that all employees wear appropriate protective clothing;
  • Conduct medical checks where necessary;
  • Ask all employees to fill in pre-existing injury forms to ensure that a new job will not worsen any existing injury;
  • Ensure that all host employers provide appropriate induction and training to all Bowden Select contractors.


Continuing commitment by management and employees to the foundations of Bowden Select’s Occupational and Health and Safety Policy will ensure our duty of care to our employees and others, is met as far as reasonable and practicable.
